Pro Fortran 2012 for Windows is a MAJOR release. It is compatible with WinXP - System 7, and Windows Server 2003 & 2008. Fully backward compatible with Pro Fortran v11.1, it includes significant compiler improvements: AVX support, Absoft's exclusive Dyanmic Load Balancing Technology (-05), new GPU tab for CUDA and HMPP usage, additional F2003 and F2008 extensions, several improvements to the Absoft Tools environment, the new Absoft Window Environment (AWE), plus the new Absoft HPC Scientific and Engineering math libraries. GINO GUI Lite, 2D/3D graphics also included.

November 2011: Intel® Cluster Studio XE released. New capabilities include MPI-enabled thread profiling and correctness checking; and an MPI library that scales beyond 90,000 processes and is up to 6.5 times the performance of alternative MPI libraries in latency tests. Intel Cluster Studio XE adds Intel Inspector, Intel VTune Amplifier and Static Security Analysis to Intel Cluster Studio.

Lahey releases LF 7.3 for Windows with Visual Studio 2010 integration and WiSK V9.1.
