Polyhedron Software was established by Dr John Appleyard in 1989 when he developed and marketed the plusFORT suite of tools for Fortran programmers, initially from his home and then from purpose-built business premises in Oxfordshire, UK.

 

Over the years the team has increased in size, in the diversity of skills we offer to our customers and in the range of projects and marketplaces in which we are involved. We are proud of our worldwide reputation for the quality and integrity of our consultancy services, product development and software sales.

Although we specialise in Fortran, Delphi and Visual Basic programming and porting, we also have the expertise to manage projects in other languages.

 

MirriM, a software tool for synchronizing files in two locations, is developed and marketed by us and our close association with Oxford University Press has resulted in the publication of many software titles, including DTMM.

 

 

As accredited UK distributors for a range of companies we offer comprehensive software sales and technical support services, online and over the telephone.

 

We use the compilers we sell, so we are able to offer informed advice in matching different products to customers’ individual requirements. Our independent and impartial compiler benchmark tables are considered to set industry performance standards.

 

We are small enough to offer a personal service, aiming to provide next day delivery for all software we have in stock. By working co-operatively with our suppliers we are able to secure prompt delivery of software we need to order.

 

 

Our consultants are happy to offer technical support and advice directly to customers over the telephone or by email.
