General Information
Commercial Licences
An INTERACTER Commercial Licence entitles the purchaser to install a single copy of INTERACTER on a single CPU. Linked executable programs developed using the INTERACTER subroutine library under such a Licence may be distributed without further royalty or run-time licence payments to ISS.
Academic Licences
Software developed using INTERACTER under an educational licence may only be distributed to other educational/research establishments, on a non-profit making basis. i.e. the only charges should be for media and handling.
Multi-Item Discounts
When purchasing multiple items, a discount of 20% is available off all but the most expensive item ordered. Orders must be placed at one time to qualify for these discount rates. Discounts are not available on split orders. New licences and upgrades both qualify for Multi-Item Discount.
Hardcopy/Export Drivers
All INTERACTER libraries include a full set of graphics hardcopy drivers for HP-GL, HP-GL/2, PostScript/EPS, 'raster' (HP PCL, Epson/IBM dot-matrix/inkjet, PCX & BMP formats), Lotus PIC, DXF and CGM output. Windows libraries also include Windows Print Manager and WMF (Windows Metafile) drivers.
Manuals
Prices include the cost of one manual set. Product UNIX/OpenVMS licence holders may purchase additional manuals at any time. Multi-item discounts do not apply to manuals.
Network/Site Licences
A separate Network and Site licence price list is available on request.
Orders, Carriage Charges and Media
Please state the exact version required when ordering, including compiler, licence type and media. Carriage is charged at cost, depending on order type and destination. DOS, Windows and Linux versions are supplied on CD. Unix versions are also supplied on CD unless otherwise requested. Unix orders can optionally be supplied on 4mm DAT tape or QIC 6150 cartridge (please specify media at time of order if CD is not suitable). Alpha/OpenVMS orders are supplied on 4mm DAT tape.

ISS operates a free INTERACTER technical support service. Registered INTERACTER licence holders may submit bug reports and other INTERACTER related enquiries to this service by email, telephone, mail or fax. Our preferred support medium is email. ISS reserves the right to vary the nature, availability and lifetime of this free service at our sole discretion. In general, we aim to respond to technical support enquiries within one working day of receipt.
