Software Requirements
Previously Intel C++ Compiler Pro with IPP, TBB, MKL
All Intel C++ Windows compilers require Microsoft Visual C++ 2003 Standard edition or above. Visual Studio 2010 Express Edition is available by free download from Microsoft's web-site but this supports command-line only. Visual Studio 2010 Professional offers full IDE support.
Software Requirements Windows XP or above. Note: Microsoft Windows 98, Windows 98 SE, and Windows Millennium Edition are no longer supported for product development, but are supported for application deployment.
SSR - Software Service Renewal. Please note that all new licence purchases include one year's SSR and SSR can be purchased for subsequent years (optional). SSR entitles you to email support and will enable you to download new versions or patches.
Intel C++ Composer XE for Windows includes the compiler + MKL, IPP, and TBB.

Academic prices
For academic versions, the purchasing body must be able to grant degrees. Special student prices are available for installation on the student's own computer. If the software is to be installed on a university-owned computer, academic (non-student) prices apply.

Email versions are electronic licence downloads (ESD) with an emailed software key (if you require a CD, please order the CD version).

All new licences include approximately one year support with provision for downloadable updates. The support (SSR) date starts from the date the licence creation. Sometimes our supplier holds limited stock for speedy delivery. This means that the SSR term may be slightly shorter than one year. To compensate for this fact, Intel will allow the cheaper pre-expiry SSR renewals for up 4 weeks after expiry. You can get continued support after that year by purchasing Software Support Renewal (SSR).
